Historic milestone for the aviation and sustainable energy industries

Tim Leslie, I am the Supervisor of Flying Operations Training at the National Research Council, Aerospace. I have been for the last fifteen years. I am proud to be the lead test pilot of the biofuel program and have flown the world's first 100% biofuel flight. It is flown on the Falcon 20 behind me here and followed closely behind on the T33, which is gathering emissions data, which is a first as well as something that the National Research Council has a specialty for.
I am very proud to be a part of this, not only from the perspective of Aerospace but from an environmental as well as sustainability. I think it is important to Canada on all aspects and I am proud to be a member of the Agrisoma, the Applied Research Associates and the Garden Team. This wouldn't be possible without the help of other government departments, part of the Clean Transportation Working Group. So once again, thanks very much and I am looking forward to future data acquisition and data processing.
Where we are going to go with this is over the next few weeks we are hoping to perform some data reduction analysis and give us a better idea of where biofuel is going in terms of sustainability as well as a lot of the emissions.
