The NRC-University of Manitoba Collaboration Centre, also known as the Canadian Centre for Advanced and Digital Manufacturing, is aiming to build a strong, long-term relationship between the University of Manitoba and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to accelerate the innovation process for the development of and commercialization in the field of additive and digital manufacturing. By bringing their complementary know-how, expertise and tools in this long-term collaboration, both organizations have the objective to co-develop multiple new applications for emerging additive and digital manufacturing technologies, to promote the recruitment and training of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students and to create an innovative ecosystem with public and private stakeholders for strategic research.
