Ronalda Rino was appointed to her current position in May 2020 after having served the Government of Canada in a number of leadership roles related to occupational health and safety.

Ronalda joined the NRC in 2006 as an Occupational Safety and Health Advisor, moving up the ranks to the position of Director, Prevention and Field Operations for Health, Safety and Environment before reaching her current appointment. During this time, she expanded her experience with an assignment position outside of the NRC, managing the Regional Operations and Compliance group for Employment and Social Development Canada's Labour Program. She led their senior investigator team, ensuring national consistency for high-profile cases.

Inducted into the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX) in 2019, Ronalda has received numerous internal awards and accolades for her leadership role in ensuring the health and safety of NRC employees.

Ronalda holds a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa.
