Roles and responsibilities

Astronomer, focusing on research of supermassive black holes and galaxies in the early Universe.

Current research and/or projects

Investigating the formation and growth of galaxies and supermassive black holes with simulations and observations.

Unveiling Stellar Light from the First Quasars (PI): A James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) program aiming to make the first detections of the stars in the host galaxies of z~6 quasars.

PEARLS (Team Member): A Guaranteed Time JWST program studying the epoch of galaxy assembly by observing a range of fields with NIRCam and NIRSpec.

NIRSpec IFS Galaxy Assembly (Team Associate): A Guaranteed Time JWST program studying galaxy and black hole growth with NIRSpec Integral Field Spectroscopy (IFS).
