Health Technologies program

Canada's medical device and health technologies industry has the opportunity to provide new technology solutions within a growing global market. The Health Technologies (HT) program offers a range of integrated technical and research services that assist Canadian health and medical technology firms with product development through tailored and cost-effective solutions.

The HT program works with partners to offer research and technical services in the following market segments: in vitro diagnostics, in vivo devices, implantable devices, simulation and digital health and medical device certification. By taking on many of the critical functions related to product development, the program enables Canadian medical device developers to accelerate their development cycle and to reach the market faster in order to maintain a competitive advantage.

"NRC researchers are experts in the field, so that took the pressure off me," he says. "They were exceedingly helpful in making their research understandable and applicable to my specific needs."
