This invention relates to a method where finding three dimensional images is dependent on image data such as color, shape or size rather than on key words, as key words often inadequately define images and are prone to human error during the information input stage. In addition, errors in keywords result in misfiling of images.

How it works
A three-dimensional search model of an object is provided, determining substantially rotationally and translationally invariant values, using a processor, searching for models in a database associated with similar values with predetermined limits. Directional information is determined by orthogonal tensors of inertia in uniform mass distribution.
