Construction Research Centre
Daniel Roy is currently serving his second term as acting Director General of the Construction Research Centre. In addition to this role, Daniel continues in his capacity as Director of Special Initiatives for the National Research Council.
Daniel began his career at the NRC in 1982, holding various roles including as an IT specialist in tech acquisition at the then Industrial Materials Institute, and Manager of Administrative and Technical Services.
In 2009, Daniel joined the Construction Research Centre as Director of Business Services. In 2012, he was promoted to Director of Operations. Between January and August 2015, Daniel served his first term as acting Director General.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in data processing from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
