Bradley Goodyear

Bradley Goodyear is Executive Director of Division Services for the National Research Council of Canada's Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). He joined NRC in 1997.

As Executive Director of IRAP Division Services, Brad has accountabilities for finance, policy, business processes, and information management. He also leads NRC's Concierge Service, providing a single access point where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can find high-quality, timely advice to help them innovate and accelerate their growth. Prior to assuming his current role, Brad led IRAP's Atlantic and Nunavut region for 6 ½ years, providing R&D advice and financial assistance to hundreds of firms annually.

Brad is a strong proponent of the "Lean" philosophy, and champions it in NRC IRAP, engaging the people who directly serve the client and execute the organization's key business processes, with a view to improving client service and minimizing waste.

Prior to joining the NRC in 1997, Brad spent nine years with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as several years in the private sector.

Brad's educational background includes studies in Information Technology and Business Administration.
