Roles and responsibilities
Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Technologist
Provide technical support services in the design, planning, conduct and analysis of various experiments and research projects. Maintain laboratories in working order and adapt facilities and tools as required for various research requirements.
Current research and/or projects
- Ongoing maintenance and expansion of laboratory capabilities, tools and field equipment in the context of research
- Development of digitization software for capturing waveforms at high frequencies for the quantification of temporal light artifacts
- Monitoring of indoor environmental conditions of the built environment for research purposes relating to health, well-being and aging
- Development of portables tools for the monitoring of indoor environmental conditions and for generic data collection of various signal types
