Roles and responsibilities

I am a senior research officer in “Polymers and Bioproducts” team at the Automotive and Surface Transportation (AST) research center from Advanced Manufacturing Program. I’m currently developing, managing and leading various scientific projects in collaboration with the Canadian industry.

Current research and/or projects

My current research work and projects are focusing on:

  • Additive manufacturing of thermoplastic polymers 
  • Advanced thermoplastic composites for Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing
  • Advancement of additive manufacturing / 3D printing technology for thermoplastics
  • Thermoplastic biocomposites, compostable materials, recycling of thermoplastics
  • Foaming of polymers, biopolymers and biocomposites
  • Functional polymers, shape memory polymer blends
