Team Leader – Millimetre Instrumentation Group
Responsible for management and scientific leadership of a group of engineers and technicians involved in the research and development of new technologies for radio-astronomical instrumentation, their construction, and deployment.
Senior Research Officer
Observational radio astronomer with scientific interests in the galactic interstellar medium and star formation, single-dish and interferometric radio astronomy systems, and instrument and systems commissioning for radio astronomy observatories.
Current research and/or projects
Instrumentation – Receiver development for ALMA (Atacama Large Millimetre Array) the ngVLA (next generation Very Large Array), and the SKA (Square Kilometre Array).
Science – Studies of interaction between stars and the interstellar medium throughout the stellar life cycle using single-dish and interferometric radio telescopes.
