Roles and responsibilities

My research consists of optical and infrared alignment metrology. This includes environmental system control, optical indexing, bonding, and tolerance verification.

Current research and/or projects

Technical advancements and development of astronomical optical and infrared projects at NRC.

Testing of RTV for the NFIRAOS project (PI): Research focused on the application and strain testing of RTV for NFIRAOS optical components.

GHOST (Team Member): Gemini High-Resolution Optical SpecTrograph (GHOST) team member focused on optomechanical alignment, metrology, thermal control, and project cabling.

O/IR R&D (Team Member): Developing NRC’s technologies and competencies for the next generation of Optical and Infrared projects involving, cryogenic, optomechanical metrology and cleaning protocols.
