Current research and/or projects

The research focusses on development of numerical methods and simulation software for manufacturing processes to reduce material waste, increase productivity and help improve the competitiveness of the Canadian industry.

Research and/or project statements

- Development of numerical simulation software for blow molding and thermoforming processes, including extrusion blow molding, strech blow molding and suction blow molding.

- Development of numerical models and simulation software for additive manufacturing of metallic and thermoplastic materials

- Topology optimization of cooling channels design for efficient cooling during die casting applications

- Thermal management of battery cells and packs for automotive applications
