Roles and responsibilities
Technical Officer in the Façade Systems and Products group, focusing in the development of sustainable solution for building envelop materials and their performance assessment, aging effects and durability prediction.
Responsible for conducting thermal analysis, spectroscopy, rheology, and accelerated aging of construction materials. Characterization techniques include dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), optical microscopy, thermal analysis (DSC & TGA), and single-sided nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
Current research and/or projects
Involved in the long-term durability assessment of building membranes in contact with low embodied carbon hempcrete and service life analysis of vacuum insulated glazing system.
