Roles and responsibilities

I am an Application Development Specialist with the NRC DT Indigenous Language Technology project. I develop and research Indigenous language learning technologies through the use of inclusive design techniques such as user-centered design and collaborative participatory design. 

Research and/or project statements

  • Verb Conjugation User Interface Tools - I am creating an accessible font-end user interface that is easy to use and repurposes for other languages.
  • Indigenous Language Modeling - I am aiding in creating Indigenous verb language models for nehiyawewin (Plains Cree) and Michif that will be used in the described UI.
