The goal of the Accessible Canada Act is to achieve a barrier-free Canada by 2040. As part of the Act, federally regulated entities, including the National Research Council of Canada, must develop and publish their 3-year accessibility plan by December 31, 2022. An accessibility barrier is anything that does not allow persons with disabilities to be included and take part in all areas of life and society.
View and provide feedback on our accessibility plan, which is part of our ongoing effort to:
- get input from persons with disabilities
- identify and remove barriers
