The Housing Research Summary Report provides an overview of the housing research activities underway at the NRC Construction Research Centre in a given calendar year. The Housing Research Summary Report was a report prepared annually for the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) until 2017. It is available free of charge.
The Housing Research Summary Report is no longer produced. To find information about housing research activities read the Housing section on the Construction Research Centre's newsletter, Construction Innovation.
The Summary includes:
- status reports on the cutting-edge construction research the NRC performs in its labs and through partnerships with other organizations.
- information on interim and planned changes to the National Model Codes.
- updates on building product evaluations.
