| Description | CARP-2 is a ground whole carp Reference Material (RM) from the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) for organochlorine compounds. A unit of CARP-2 consists of six individually sealed ampoules, of approximately 9 grams each, of ground whole carp (Cyprinus carpio). This material is primarily intended for use in the calibration of procedures and the development of methods used for the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) and pesticides in biological materials. |
