Styrobar® HS-40

Product description

Styrobar® HS-40 is a rigid insulation made from expanded polystyrene (EPS). Styrobar® HS-40 is available in all standard sizes starting at 50 mm (1/2 in.) thick to 300 mm (12 in.) thick, in 1 200 mm × 2 400 mm (4 ft. × 8 ft.) or 600 mm × 2 400 mm (2 ft. × 8 ft.) sheets. Custom thicknesses up to 925 mm (37 in.) are available on a special order basis. The product is available with either a butt edge or a shiplap edge.

The evaluation of this product is based solely on its certification and listing by QAI Laboratories Ltd.

Styrobar® HS-40 products are molded at a minimum 38 kg/m3 density. As such, these products are not classified for surface-burning characteristics noted and are not considered eligible for use as interior insulation products.
