Product description
Type I
The following membranes are single-ply, non-reinforced, ethylene/propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM) roofing membranes available in many thicknesses, widths and lengths:
- RubberGard™ Low Slope Fire Retardant (Black)
- RubberGard™ LSFR PT
- RubberGard™ Platinum
- RubberGard™ Platinum PT
- FullForce™ EPDM
RubberGard™ Platinum PT and the RubberGard™ LSFR PT have a 76.2 mm (3 in.) or 152.4 mm (6 in.) wide QuickSeamTM tape that is factory-laminated continuously along one 30.5 m (100 ft.) length of the panel.
The FullForce™ EPDM membrane is a self-adhered roof system with Secure Bond Adhesive that is factory-applied to ensure uniform adhesion across the entire membrane.
The following membranes are single-ply, non-reinforced, bi-laminate, white-on-black, cured EPDM roofing membranes:
- RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ EPDM
- RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ EPDM PT
- RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ Platinum™ EPDM
- RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ Platinum™ EPDM PT
RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ EPDM is 1.52 mm (0.060 in.) thick and comes in lengths of 15.24 m (50 ft.) and 30.5 m (100 ft.), and widths of 3.05 m (10 ft.), 5.08 m (16 ft. 8 in.), 6.1 m (20 ft.), 7.6 m (25 ft.) and 9.4 m (30 ft.).
RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ EPDM PT has a 76 mm (3 in.) wide QuickSeam™ tape that is factory-laminated continuously along one 30.5 m (100 ft.) length of the panel.
RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ Platinum™ EPDM is 2.29 mm (0.090 in.) thick and comes in lengths of 15.24 m (50 ft.) and 30.5 m (100 ft.), with a width of 3.05 m (10 ft.).
RubberGard™ EcoWhite™ Platinum™ PT has either a 76 mm (3 in.) or 152.4 mm (6 in.) wide QuickSeam™ tape that is factory-laminated continously along one 30.5 m (100 ft.) length of the panel.
Type II
RubberGard™ Max EPDM and RubberGard™ Max PT membranes are single-ply, reinforced, black, EPDM roofing membranes that are 3.05 m (10 ft.) wide and 30.5 m (100 ft.) long. RubberGard™ Max is available in thicknesses of 1.14 mm (45 mil), 1.52 mm (60 mil) and 1.91 mm (75 mil), and RubberGard™ Max PT is only available in a thickness of 1.52 mm (60 mil).
RubberGard™ Max PT has a 152.4 mm (6 in.) wide QuickSeam™ tape that is factory-laminated continously along one 30.5 m (100 ft.) length of the panel.

Disclaimer
This evaluation is issued by the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC), part of the Construction Research Centre at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). The evaluation must be read in the context of the entire CCMC Registry of Product Assessments and the legislated applicable building code in effect.
The CCMC was established in 1988 on behalf of the applicable regulator (i.e., the provinces and territories) to ensure—through assessment—conformity of alternative and acceptable solutions to regional building codes as determined by the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) as part of the issuance of a building permit.
It is the responsibility of the local AHJs, design professionals, and specifiers to confirm that the evaluation is current and has not been withdrawn or superseded by a later issue. Please refer to the website or contact:
