Product description
The products are composite panels that are manufactured from recycled crumb rubber and binders. The materials are compounded in a proprietary formulation and moulded into panels that simulate a series of slate tiles or wood shakes.
The “EuroSlate®” and “EuroShake® ” panels (see Figure 1 and Figure 2 , respectively) are 900 mm long × 560 mm wide with an exposure area of 0.23 m2 each. The panels are installed by sliding the horizontal groove of the panel over the tongue of the panel below and connecting the spacer pin while making sure to stagger the panel joints. Installation of the panels starts at the left side of the roof.
The “EuroLite Slate®” and “EuroLite Shake® ” panels (see Figure 3 and Figure 4 , respectively) are 1 000 mm long × 430 mm wide with an exposure area of 1.25 m2. The panels include an adhesive strip on the underside which is used in addition to the nails to fasten the panels. The panels are installed from left to right by interlocking the space tabs between the adjacent panels and by resting the raised nibs located on the underside of the panels on the top of the previous row of panels.
The products are available in black, brown or greystone. Custom colours are available upon request.
The complete roofing system includes the panels, starter strips, hip caps, right and left gable caps, and ridge caps (see Figure 5 and Figure 6).
