PROPINK COMFORTSEAL™ GUN FOAM

Product description

The product is a bead-applied one-component polyurethane expanding foam, which can be used as a sealant to control air leakage at penetrations (e.g., in window and door frames) within the DuPont™ Tyvek® HomeWrap® air barrier system. The product is packaged in pressurized containers, which are available in various sizes. 

The durability of the products was assessed with the following substrates at the window/wall interface.

As per CAN/ULC-S710.1-11, the one-component air sealant foam must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and CAN/ULC-S710.2-11, “Standard for Thermal Insulation – Bead-Applied One Component Polyurethane Air Sealant Foam – Part 2: Installation.”
