Product description
The product is an emulsion polymer isocyanate (EPI) adhesive supplied as a two-part system. The resin, G-3270, consists of a water-based polymer in liquid form. The crosslinker, G-2959M, is modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), also in liquid form. The two components must be mixed immediately before use following the manufacturer’s instructions. The required mixing ratio is 100 parts G-3270 to 18 parts G-2959M by weight. Standard conformance for this product was demonstrated for softwoods.
This adhesive is intended for bonding solid wood materials in structural wood products designed for exterior applications as specified in the Standard CSA O112.9-10. Depending on the end products, other requirements for adhesive may apply.
