Product information
Product name
Zuri Decking
Product description
The product is an exterior decking plank made of solid core PVC cellular composite, capped with a thin layer of solid PVC and two additional layers, a photorealistic print (colour and wood grain), and a clear acrylic finish layer. Zuri Decking solid-edge boards have an average thickness of 26.9 mm with an average width of 140.2 mm, while the grooved edge boards have an average thickness of 24.9 mm and an average width of 140.2 mm. Zuri Decking boards are available in 5 colours: Weathered Gray, Walnut, Chestnut, Pecan and Brazilia.
The boards are intended to be used as exterior decking installed over traditional structural wood framing (see Figure 1 and Figure 2).
Manufacturing plant
This evaluation is valid only for products produced at the following plant:

Conditions and limitations
The CCMC’s compliance opinion is bound by this product being used in accordance with the conditions and limitations set out below.
- The planks must be installed with supports spaced at no greater than 400 mm o.c.
- When used as stair treads, the product must be installed with supports spaced no greater than 305 mm.
- The product must be fastened to the wood joists with fasteners conforming to Article 9.23.3.1., Standards for Nails and Screws, of Division B of the NBC 2015. The fasteners must have a corrosion-protection coatingTable footnote (1) or be made of stainless steel. The planks must be fastened with a minimum of two fasteners 63.5 mm in length per support (Headcote fasteners are recommended for face-screwed applications).
- The product can also be installed using the Zuri clip hidden fastener system as supplied by the manufacturer or using the CAMO fastening system with two fasteners 47.6 mm in length per support.
- End-to-end installation of deck boards is not permitted. Instead, feature board/breaker board installation is to be used as described in the manufacturer’s installation manual.
- On long (greater than 6 m) deck runs, the product must be installed using feature board/breaker board installation as described in the manufacturer’s installation manual. The end gapping is based on the temperature at installation.
- The end gapping must be a minimum of 4 mm for installations at temperatures above 0°C and a minimum of 6 mm for installations at temperatures below 0°C.
- The width-to-width gapping must be a minimum of 2.3 mm for installations at temperatures above 15°C and a minimum of 4.8 mm for installations at temperatures below 15°C.
- The product is not to be considered equivalent to dimensional lumber.
- The product should be installed by a knowledgeable person familiar with the product installation guide.
- The planks with a solid profile (section) can be used as stair treads at 305 mm (12 in.) o.c. spacing.
- Where possible, the label or packaging on the product must be identified with the manufacturer’s name or logo and the phrase “CCMC 14101-R.”
