Product description
These products are mineral fibre batt insulations that are available as friction-fit batts in the following sizes:
- Thermafiber® UltraBatt™ has a density up to 64 kg/m3 and is available in:
- widths of 381 mm, 406 mm, 584 mm and 610 mm;
- lengths of 1 194 mm and 1 219 mm; and
- thicknesses of between 64 mm and 203 mm.
- Thermafiber® SAFB™ has a density up to 40 kg/m3 is available in:
- widths of 381 mm, 406 mm, 488 mm, 584 mm and 610 mm;
- lengths of 1 194 mm and 1 219 mm; and
- thicknesses of between 25 mm and 179 mm in 12.7 mm increments.
- Fire & Sound Guard™ has a density up to 40 kg/m3 is available in:
- widths of 381 mm, 406 mm, 488 mm, 584 mm and 610 mm;
- lengths of 1 194 mm and 1 219 mm; and
- thicknesses of between 25 mm and 179 mm in 12.7 mm increments.

Thermafiber® SAFB™ and Fire & Sound Guard™ have not been evaluated as part of this CCMC Listing for its fire-resistance or sound rating. Consult the manufacturer for more information. Also, R-values (Table) does not apply to Thermafiber® SAFB™ and Fire & Sound Guard™.
