The product is a 1-component polyurethane expanding foam, which can be used as a sealant to control air leakage at penetrations (e.g., in window and door frames) within the Dow WEATHERMATE Housewrap air barrier system. The product is packaged in pressurized containers, which are available in various sizes.

As per CAN/ULC-S710.1-11, the one-component air sealant foam must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and CAN/ULC-S710.2-11, “Standard for Thermal Insulation – Bead-Applied One Component Polyurethane Air Sealant Foam – Part 2: Installation.”
