Footnote 2

The thickness at which the insulation achieves the stated thermal resistance (design thickness). This chart uses the same column for minimum installed thickness and minimum settled thickness based on long-term settlement testing showing insignificant settlement.

Footnote 3

Density increases as thickness increases to achieve the increasing design thermal resistance ratings in the table. To achieve the design density, the product must be blown at the rate specified by the manufacturer. Contact the manufacturer for more details.
