Effective April 30, 2026, the NRC has discontinued the Calibration Laboratory Assessment Service (NRC CLAS). Clients accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) have been transitioned to the SCC.
The SCC is now fully responsible for the assessment and the accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for these testing and calibration laboratories. The calibration and measurement capabilities from the CLAS Certificates for these laboratories are now published under their scope of accreditation found under SCC's accredited organizations.
