The NRC is discontinuing the Calibration Laboratory Assessment Service (NRC CLAS) and is assisting clients that are accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) to move their assessments fully to the SCC.
Effective April 30, 2026, SCC will take full responsibility for the assessment and the accreditation for these laboratories to ISO/IEC 17025.
